Claims Officer - Job Overview

As a Claims Officer, you will be responsible for promoting products and services to customers while fostering great relationships with stakeholders.

This role involves providing an exceptional operational and customer service experience for diverse internal and external stakeholders, including customers, agents, organisations, and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process claims in line with set procedures and policies, ensuring accurate documentation and prompt resolution.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service and develop working relationships with customers and service providers.
  • Manage claims effectively using external and internal specialists to achieve settlement outcomes efficiently.
  • Enhance technical expertise through professional development and training as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience in insurance claims is highly advantageous, although not mandatory.
  • Exceptional call centre/customer service experience with a willingness to learn the insurance industry.
  • Strong customer service skills with a supportive approach.
  • A passion for making a difference and helping people in need.
  • Excellent phone manner and ability to type and talk concurrently.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks to meet customer needs.
