We are seeking an experienced Behavioural Support Practitioner who possesses excellent clinical skills, communication abilities, and a passion for working with diverse client groups.
Main Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments using clinical observations, interviewing techniques, and standardized assessments.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
- Deliver evidence-based interventions across a range of mental health presentations.
- Improve accessibility through community visits, including home, school, day program, and/or group home settings.
- Participate in team-based interventions and contribute to the development of new programs to meet client needs.
- Bachelor of Psychology, Social Work, or Social Science degree.
- Registration with AHPRA or AASW or equivalent.
- Qualifications in Mental Health, Community Work, Social Work, Social Science, or Psychology.
- Current driver's license with ability and willingness to travel to clients.
- Knowledge and understanding of psychologist's ethical and legal obligations.
- Well-developed communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
