Job DescriptionAs an occupational therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services to individuals with neurological and developmental conditions. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the effectiveness of intervention and measuring client progress. You will work closely with clients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive assessments, treatment plans, and rehabilitation reports.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing occupational therapy input into comprehensive interdisciplinary assessment, treatment, and discharge
- Monitoring, evaluating, and modifying treatment to measure client progress and ensure effectiveness of intervention
- Discussing services and treatment options with potential clients and/or their primary caregivers
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Qualification in Occupational Therapy (Undergraduate or Masters)
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and associated Private Indemnity Insurance
- Full valid Driver's License
- Working With Children Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Relevant post-graduate diploma in Neurological Rehabilitation (desirable)
