French Language Educator

This is a key role within our educational community that involves delivering French language instruction to students in Years 7 to 9.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing high-quality lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • They will deliver interactive and student-centered teaching practices that promote language acquisition and cultural understanding.
  • A critical aspect of this role is assessing and providing feedback on student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies for growth.
  • Maintaining open communication with parents and colleagues is also crucial to ensure a collaborative and supportive learning environment.

We are seeking an applicant who has demonstrated expertise in teaching French as a second language, with a strong focus on literacy and numeracy skills.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in responding to student learning needs, including differentiation and assessment strategies. They should also be able to plan and implement high-impact teaching strategies, guided by how students learn, and evaluate the impact of learning and teaching programs on student growth.

Additionally, they must possess interpersonal and communication skills to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
