The Technology division of the Queensland Revenue Office is currently recruiting for a permanent role in Brisbane CBD office.

Salary: Estimated annual salary range $103,500 - $137,800

This Senior Data Engineer position supports data engineering and operational IT services underpinning data services, analytics, reporting, and secure communication of information. Key responsibilities include engineering data aligned with organisational strategic, regulatory, compliance, and operational objectives.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years' experience in data engineering and software development
  • Strong understanding of data modelling and database design principles
  • Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and big data platforms
