Job Title

Senior Compliance Analyst - Regulatory Risk

About the Role

This senior role plays a key part in building and maintaining our company's compliance capability.

The Senior Compliance Analyst will identify, assess and mitigate regulatory risks, ensuring adherence to internal standards and external obligations.

You'll support business units in embedding effective compliance controls, translating regulatory requirements into practical solutions and uplifting the control environment.

Working closely with line 2, internal audit and other stakeholders, you'll provide compliance advice, contribute to risk-in-change assessments and help drive remediation and monitoring activities.

This is an opportunity to collaborate across divisions, contribute to governance forums and support the delivery of our company's Compliance Strategy.

As a Senior Compliance Analyst, you'll be instrumental in ensuring compliance is owned and managed at the source, helping the business stay ahead of regulatory expectations.

This is an initial contract with potential for extension.

About You
  • Strong background in regulatory risk, ideally gained within financial services.
  • Solid understanding of APRA, ASIC and other regulatory bodies.
  • Experience designing and implementing compliance controls that are both effective and practical.
  • Analytical mindset and attention to detail allow you to identify control gaps, assess compliance risks and recommend solutions.
  • Confident in using compliance monitoring tools and systems.
  • Ability to simplify complex regulatory requirements makes you a valued advisor.
  • Clear communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Collaborative approach and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business, Risk Management or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as AACI or ACI 10980NAT highly regarded.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with compliance frameworks.
