About the Role

We are inviting applications for the Trainee MMU Operator position at our Deer Park Quarry sites. As a valued member of our team, you will be trained and supported to perform duties within our blast crew, as a bench assistant, and eventually operate an MMU.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate our company value: 'Safety is our Priority, always', acting with integrity and respect;
  • Operate blasting plant and machinery, and assist with preventative maintenance;
  • Work in the field with your teammates to assist with the delivery of explosive products at quarry sites;
  • Work outdoors in a physically demanding environment;
  • Provide excellent service to our valued customers;
  • Complete daily administration and customer interactions when required.

Requirements

  • A Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's license is preferred;
  • Previous experience working outdoors in all weather conditions in a physically demanding environment;
  • The ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening;
  • A motivated, self-starter attitude with a positive, team-based approach;
  • A basic mechanical comprehension would be highly regarded.
