Key Job Details:

The Structural Advisor will play a pivotal role in ensuring the structural integrity of a major port infrastructure project in Queensland. This role combines experienced professionals and developing engineers to strengthen the asset's condition.

  • Conduct on-site assessments to evaluate the structural health of assets.
  • Develop scopes for remediation to improve structural integrity.
  • Provide strategic advice on managing structural integrity for critical port infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with the existing engineering team to fill knowledge gaps.
  • Mentor junior engineers within the team.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with Australian Standards, safety regulations, and operational requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering (B.Eng.).
  2. Minimum 15 years' experience in structural engineering, particularly in marine and port infrastructure.
  3. Extensive experience in asset management, bulk material handling, and civil construction.
  4. Strong understanding of risk management and remediation strategies.
  5. Prior experience working on-site in an operational environment.
  6. Ability to assess and manage the structural integrity of large-scale industrial assets.
  7. FIFO flexibility within Queensland or NSW (preferred but not mandatory).
