About this role:

A leading provider of renewable energy solutions is seeking a highly skilled Director of Construction Management to lead construction activities in Melbourne and across Australia.

Job Summary:

The Director of Construction Management will oversee the construction and execution of renewable energy projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery while adhering to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

About you:

  • Lead and manage the construction activities of renewable energy projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop and implement construction management plans, including procurement strategies and project schedules.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination and integration of construction activities.
  • Oversee the selection, negotiation, and management of contractors, suppliers, and consultants.
  • Monitor and track project progress, milestones, and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with local authorities and stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals and permits.
  • Oversee the commissioning and handover process.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives in construction management processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of at least 10 years in construction management roles within the renewable energy industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of renewable energy technologies.
  • Experience in managing construction activities of renewable energy projects in Australia.
