Job Title: Production Attraction Manager

Description:

The primary role of the Production Attraction Manager is to develop and implement strategies that position NSW as a premier destination for screen production. This involves driving initiatives to attract domestic and international productions while ensuring the screen sector thrives and evolves.

About the Role:

  • Contribute to planning and crafting strategies to spotlight NSW as a prime screen production destination.
  • Manage the delivery and continual improvement of production attraction strategies, including advising screen production enterprises on filming opportunities in Sydney and regional NSW; scoping new infrastructure to support screen production; attracting and facilitating visits from producers, directors, and creatives worldwide.
  • Promote and administer the NSW Local Government Filming Protocol ('Film Friendly'), resolving issues between productions and government authorities to ensure smooth operations.
  • Cultivate strong, productive relationships with domestic and international screen production companies to boost filming opportunities in NSW.
  • Provide strategic advice and utilize data to support decision-making, ensuring strategies are backed by solid evidence.

About You:

  • You will have a sound understanding of screen production needs and government protocols.
  • You will have a proven track record in strategy development, project management, or a related field in screen production.
  • You will have strong analytical skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a knack for building and maintaining relationships.
