Job Opportunity:

Programs and Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and skilled Programs and Operations Coordinator to oversee the coordination and management of our swimming lessons program, pool operations, lifeguarding/duty management teams, and the Kids Club (creche).

This role involves planning and implementing recreation programs, recruiting and training staff, and ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and engaging environment for all participants and patrons.

The Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing pool operations, water chemistry management, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

This is a full-time position, offering 38 hours per week, with an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in local communities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • AustSwim Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety or equivalent qualification
  • AustSwim Teacher of Infant and preschool Aquatics or equivalent qualification
  • Professional AustSwim Registration or equivalent certification
  • SISSS00133 Pool Lifeguard or equivalent qualification
  • SISSS00131 Aquatic Technical Operator or equivalent qualification
  • (HLTAID0011) Provide First Aid or equivalent certification
  • (HLTAID009) Provide CPR or equivalent certification
  • Child-Safe Environments Certificate
  • Current Driver's Licence
