We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Gardener to join our FIFO team in Townsville or Cairns.

About the Job

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic remote maintenance team, responsible for maintaining and enhancing site grounds and gardens.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and enhance site grounds and garden
  • Turf management, tree and shrub maintenance, mowing, weed control, and watering the grounds
  • Maintain camp facilities in a serviceable and presentable condition, including minor repairs
  • Maintain yards at the site to a high standard as required by contractual agreements
  • Safety Health and Environment awareness and adherence
  • Work collaboratively with team members and provide proactive maintenance to structures and services as needed
  • Operate and maintain equipment and machinery safely and efficiently
Requirements:
  • A collaborative individual with 12 months+ experience managing multiple tasks under pressure
  • Ability to work extended shifts (11.5 hours) in a dynamic environment
  • Background in trades, labor, or general maintenance is preferred
  • Familiarity with chemical handling is advantageous
  • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Dedication to providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a positive attitude
  • Strong safety-oriented mindset and personal appearance and hygiene standards
  • Manual Driver's License and Cert III Horticulture are mandatory requirements
  • National Police Clearance obtained within the last 6 months is essential
