Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for providing cost engineering support to projects with complex requirements. You will prepare cost studies, analyze cost trends, and develop project requirements for cost control. Your detailed analysis will provide innovative solutions to cost engineering challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate, analyze, and control costs for projects with non-routine requirements or high technical skill needs
  • Develop and implement project requirements for cost control in accordance with established procedures and contractual agreements
  • Maintain open communications with other organizations to support cost engineering analysis and control activities
  • Prepare cost studies using historical data, statistical analysis, and cost comparisons
Required Skills and Qualifications

This position requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience. The ideal candidate should have experience in directing project cost engineering, including cost control and analysis, cost reporting, incurred cost assessment, and conducting meetings.

  • Skilled in oral and written communication, with the ability to present project information to management and clients
  • Advanced level of knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start-up work processes
  • Knowledge of engineering and construction management customarily acquired over time through specialized instruction or practical experience
