Cloud Data Solutions Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Data Solutions Architect to design and build robust data solutions across cloud platforms.

This role combines technical expertise with leadership skills, requiring the ability to blend hands-on engineering with architecture, mentoring, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead on-prem to cloud migration projects, including reverse engineering and mapping of legacy SQL, SSIS/SSRS, and stored procedures.
  • Design, build, and manage scalable batch and streaming data pipelines using Databricks, Spark, and Delta Lake.
  • Build and optimise ETL/ELT workflows across Azure (ADF, Data Lake, Synapse) and AWS (S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda).
  • Implement best practices for data governance, quality, lineage, and security using Unity Catalog and medallion architecture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, trusted datasets for analytics, reporting, and API consumption.
  • Support automation, CI/CD integration, and performance tuning of cloud data platforms.
  • Document architecture, establish migration strategies, and communicate progress and ROI to technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers and contribute to a high-performing, delivery-focused team.
