Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled security-focused software engineer to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge security initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the development of secure software products.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, a proven track record of delivering high-quality results, and excellent communication skills. They will be responsible for defining, implementing, and documenting new security features, leading security-focused initiatives within a product engineering team, analyzing, fixing, and testing vulnerabilities in open source software, and contributing to Ubuntu and upstream open source projects.


This is a globally distributed role, and we require the ability to be productive in a remote team environment through strong self-discipline and motivation. Mandatory international travel is required at least twice a year, typically for one week.
