Role Overview:
RSM is seeking an experienced Environmental Sustainability Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our Climate Change and Sustainability division, you will be responsible for managing clients, projects, and staff while focusing on climate change, sustainability, energy, and environmental-related engagements.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct risk consulting and assurance engagements with multiple teams, planning, execution, and scheduling staff.
  • Assist in NGERS, ESS, ACCU Scheme, Safeguard Mechanism, Accounting for Nature, Climate Active, and RET client engagements in a timely manner.
  • Advise on ESG, sustainable management, and procurement to satisfy SDGs and sustainability reporting under GRI and TCFD frameworks.
  • Manage team coordination, training, mentoring, and methodology compliance.
  • Maintain budgetary discipline and plan effective budgets.
  • Monitor staffing requirements and future resource planning issues.
  • Work with senior-level clients across different business environments.
  • Perform technical reviews for clients with varying risk profiles.
  • Complete Engagement Files within a timely manner for Manager/Partner review.
  • Summarize engagement results for Partner/Director/Manager.
  • Identify potential issues and document recommendations for Partner/Management attention.
  • Draft engagement reports providing practical and commercial business advice.
  • Identify and refer ethical and conflict issues to Partner/Director and/or Manager.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or Environmental/Engineering.
  • Completed CA or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of assurance or advisory experience, preferably in Professional Services or relevant industry position.
  • Possession of strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Strong process mapping and problem-solving skills.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum
