Aircrew Training Instructor for Hawk 127

**Job Summary:**

This role involves delivering aircrew training events for customer pilots, with a focus on ensuring their safety and proficiency in operating the Hawk 127 aircraft.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and develop comprehensive training programs to meet customer needs and industry standards.
  • Provide expert briefings and debriefings to customers to ensure they are aware of their expected and actual performance during training sessions.
  • Evaluate and document customer performance and progress during training sessions, using relevant tools and reporting procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with maintenance technicians to report identified simulator problems or malfunctions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills required for instructor certification and standardization.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to create a safe and supportive work environment.

**Requirements and Qualifications:**

  • A minimum of 1000 hours experience flying the Hawk 127 or similar fast jet aircraft.
  • Previous instructional experience in Hawk 127 or similar aircraft is highly desirable.
  • Possess qualifications and experience necessary to be authorized as a competent Simulator Instructor by the Commanding Officer of RAAF Central Flying School or delegate.

**Security Clearance:**
