Early Childhood Educator Position

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our team. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional early learning experiences for children aged 1-5 years.

This is a permanent, full-time position based in St Leonards, with three beautiful campuses in Woollahra, Lindfield and St Leonards. The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting the Room Leader in delivering an engaging, inquiry-based program inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach.

Job Description
  • Deliver high-quality early learning experiences: Assist the Room Leader in creating and implementing an engaging, inquiry-based program that caters to the developmental needs of children aged 1-5 years.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation: Maintain accurate and ongoing records of each child's development, using reflective practices to inform planning and individualised support.
  • Conduct observations and assessments: Conduct regular observations and assessments of children's progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care: Hold a recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care, such as a Certificate III or Diploma.
  • ACECQA approval: Be approved by ACECQA (Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority).
  • Valid Working With Children Check: Hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) or be willing to obtain one.
