Payroll Specialist

About the Role:
- Effective management of end-to-end payroll functions, encompassing salary packaging, leave administration, and superannuation.
- Comprehensive payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Interpretation and application of EBA guidelines.
- Processing employee changes, including status updates, terminations, new starters, promotions, and date modifications.
- Treatment of terminations and redundancies in accordance with established procedures.
- Management of allowances and deductions, as well as back payments and overpayment investigations.
- Provision of payroll reports and rectification of errors in coding and scheduling rules for Time & Attendance systems.
- Maintenance of accurate manual leave calculations, adhering to EBA regulations.
About You:
- Experience in payroll processing, preferably within a large-scale environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work accurately and reliably under pressure.
The Job Requirements:
- Strong understanding of payroll systems and processes, coupled with analytical skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on collaboration and teamwork.
- Proven capacity to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
