Job Role Summary

The successful candidate will contribute to the provision, development and maintenance of an effective, efficient and equitable clinical service to hospital patients.

They will be responsible for delivering high-quality obstetric and gynaecological services under the supervision and direction of Senior staff members.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Delivering obstetric and gynaecological services under the guidance and oversight of experienced professionals.
  • Ensuring accurate, concise and legible documentation of relevant clinical information in patient records.
  • Conducting thorough interviews, examinations and identifying clinical issues.
  • Collaborating with Consultant staff to arrange investigations, surgical treatments, medical interventions and discharges as required.
  • Maintaining regular review of patient progress.
