Senior Equipment Maintenance Leader

Job Summary:

This is a key opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional to lead and motivate a team of tradespeople in ensuring effective performance and availability of all mining and heavy earthmoving equipment on site.

As a senior equipment maintenance leader, you will drive high performance by coaching and supporting your team to achieve operational excellence. You will lead by example with hands-on involvement as required, prioritising tasks to ensure seamless execution of scheduled maintenance and reactive repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Raise work orders and manage inventory as required.
  • Approve parts lists for ordering and maintain accurate records.
  • Oversee downtime reports and work orders to optimise equipment availability.
  • Prioritise, coordinate, and execute scheduled maintenance activities.
  • Allocate resources effectively for breakdown and reactive maintenance.
  • Ensure integrity of maintenance data and systems.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a leader in a similar role.
  • Trade qualification as a Heavy Duty Mechanic.
  • CAT equipment experience.
  • Valid Manual Driver's Licence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work safely.
  • Able to pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical check.
