Seeking a Medical Registrar to join our Emergency Department in a leading, near 400-bed hospital. Consideration given to New Zealand trained registrars.

The Emergency Department:

Excellent clinical experience with varied case-mix, including paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology. Highlights include:
- 48-beds, 75,000 presentations per year with an admission rate of 30%
- FACEM-lead team-based care

Training Opportunities:

18 months training accredited with ACEM. Additional benefits include:
- ACEM Primary and Fellowship Exam preparation programs.
- Paediatric log book accredited.
- Weekly protected teaching time.
- Regular non-clinical time to participate in departmental activities.
- One-on-one bedside ultrasound teaching by a certified Sonographer to gain skills in AAA and eFAST and fulfil CCPU requirements.
- Access to non-ED rotations including anaesthetics, intensive care, paediatrics and general medicine.
- Opportunity to attend hospital courses including Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), ALS 2, Practical Obstetric Multi-Professional Training course (PROMPT) and biannual accredited Ultrasound Course.
