Job Title: Perioperative Team Lead

The role of the Perioperative Team Lead is a critical one in ensuring the smooth operation of our perioperative suite.

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for leading the Scrub/Scout Team and overseeing the management of resources to deliver high-quality patient care.

This full-time permanent position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to our team and drive excellence in quality care delivery.

About You
  • Registered as a Nurse with the Nursing Board of South Australia and holds a current Practising Certificate with no restrictions.
  • Demonstrated Clinical expertise in the Scrub/Scout area.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with experience in human resources and rostering.

As a leader, you will play a key role in facilitating ongoing development of unit-based activities and resources that influence safe practice and comprehensive nursing care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and management for the Scrub/Scout Team.
  • Commitment to excellence in quality perioperative nursing care.
  • Governance of practice in adherence to relevant standards, guidelines and policy.
  • Resource management including procurement and human resources.
Requirements:
  • Registered as a Nurse with the Nurses Board of South Australia and holds a current Practising Certificate with no restrictions.
  • Demonstrated Clinical expertise in the Scrub/Scout area.
  • Demonstrated experience in resource and cost management.
  • Experience in human management principles including rostering, performance management and team development.
