About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Technical Director to lead our Substation Design and Delivery team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the success of our projects and delivering high-quality results to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Delivery: Accountable for the overall success of all aspects of projects assigned, including contract negotiation, project management, risk management, and project financial performance.
  • Financial Management: Manage project profitability and financial contribution for allocated projects, ensuring financial performance in accordance with client proposals, business plans, and budgets.
  • People Management & Competency Development: Responsible for the leadership, management, development, and motivation of team members, ensuring the ongoing development of careers and competencies.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
  • Experience: 15 years of technical director experience or 8+ years of electrical engineering professional/technical experience within the transmission and distribution sector.
  • Skills: High-level engineering consulting and client management skills, experienced in the delivery of major and/or complex design projects, excellent communication and commercial skills, and a strong client focus.
