About Our Mining GroupOur team of over 5,200 dedicated mining professionals is supporting the industry's green transition. You'll join a leading team working on complex projects, collaborating across borders and disciplines.
This role involves preparing and supervising mechanical engineering designs, drawings, specifications, schedules, quantity, and cost estimates.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and oversee mechanical design projects from concept to completion.
- Evaluate the performance of mechanical assets against key criteria such as safety, cost, environmental impact, and reliability.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated project outcomes.
- Present high-level technical reports and review medium-sized project reports.
- Contribute to building the technical capability of others and transferring technical expertise within the organisation.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mechanical Discipline.
- Experience in managing multiple projects of varying complexity and size.
- Able to balance innovation, quality, and technical excellence with delivery to timelines and budget.
- Proven background in material handling systems, mine dewatering, ventilation, or fixed plant within large-scale projects.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence outcomes in a client-facing role.
