About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Third Party Risk Consultant to join our team at Suncorp Group. As a key member of our risk management function, you will play a vital role in strengthening our third-party risk practices across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with Procurement, business stakeholders, and risk teams to deliver consistent guidance on third-party risk assessments and management practices.
  • Operationalise third-party risk frameworks to enhance compliance, including ensuring alignment with APRA's CPS230 requirements.
  • Develop trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, advocating for a proactive and collaborative approach to risk management.
  • Analyse data trends and provide actionable insights to support decision-making and improve third-party risk practices.
  • Establish and uplift practice across the third-party risk management lifecycle.
Requirements
  • 5+ years in insurance, banking, or financial services.
  • 2+ years in third-party risk management or a similar discipline.
  • Proven experience in influencing and communicating with diverse stakeholders.
  • Understanding of third-party risk management.
  • Familiarity with regulatory obligations, including CPS230.

$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, based on location (Brisbane or Sydney), plus benefits.
