Project Director Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Director to lead our pre-construction efforts. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in project management, specifically in the water and infrastructure sectors.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned project manager to take on a pivotal role within our organization. As Project Director, you will be responsible for leading the front-end project cycle, from opportunity identification through to successful tender submission.

You will work closely with estimators, engineers, design teams, and senior management to prepare compelling bids and robust delivery strategies.

  • Liaise with design consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders during the tender process
  • Develop detailed project methodologies, staging plans, and risk assessments
  • Review and refine bid documentation to ensure compliance and competitiveness
  • Support value engineering initiatives to deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions
  • Contribute to pre-award client presentations and negotiations
  • Manage bid timelines, deliverables, and review gates to ensure on-time submission
About You:
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Engineer within water or civil infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies and sequencing
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and persuasive bid responses
  • Ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Commercial acumen and a solutions-focused mindset
