Job Title: RTO Operations Manager

The RTO Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a Registered Training Organisation. This includes leading internal audits, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with relevant state and federal frameworks.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring full RTO compliance with standards, maintaining up-to-date policies, procedures, and continuous improvement records.
  • Leading internal audits and reviews, including random checks of delivery, data, and documentation; supporting external audits and corrective actions.
  • Overseeing daily RTO operations, including staff supervision, course coordination, assessment validation, and timetabling.
  • Aligning RTO strategy with organisational goals, contributing to governance reporting, and managing regulatory and funding data submissions.
  • Engaging with external bodies, managing MOUs, and ensuring effective stakeholder communication.
Requirements

For this role, we are looking for a candidate with:

  • Proven experience in managing RTO operations.
  • Strong understanding of TAC/ASQA compliance standards.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in education or compliance.
  • Excellent planning, communication, and staff leadership skills.
  • Experience managing data systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, autonomy, and document management.
