Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled engineer to lead the development of innovative control solutions and improve the capabilities, efficiency, and performance of control systems.

About the Role

  • Provide technical expertise and leadership to activities related to control system development within the APAC Region.
  • Develop and execute scopes aligned with customer and project requirements and priorities.
  • Define cost, time, and resource requirements for engineering planning and forecasting.
  • Drive engineering and team activities to ensure timely delivery.
  • Collaborate during design reviews, working with controlled titles at all project stages, contributing to risk assessments, and driving mitigation activities.
  • Assess manpower needs for offshore installations, including skill gap analysis, providing planning support, reviewing procedures, and leading offshore teams during commissioning and start-up.
  • Ensure deliverables meet customer specifications, regional technical regulations, and standards for Australia.
  • Review and approve product clarifications, procedures, and technical reports.
  • Provide technical support and leadership during business and non-business hours, including on-call support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation and Control Systems Engineering or related fields.
  • Over 10 years of engineering experience in the subsea industry or related services.
  • Expertise in SCADA systems, PLC operations, instrumentation design and operation.
  • Experience with subsea control systems, including software development and communication protocols.
  • Knowledge of operational requirements for DCS, MCS, PCDMs, SCMs, SEMs, HPUs, XTs, and umbilicals.
  • Experience with EPC project control system design, testing, commissioning, and offshore startup activities.
