Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team at Edith Cowan University. As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and maintenance of our Enterprise Data Warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and support Data Engineering and Business Intelligence capabilities
  • Work with stakeholders to define and promote best practices for Data Engineering and information assets
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines and architectures using Microsoft Azure Data Services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions
  • Provide subject matter expertise on data engineering and business intelligence tools and technologies

Requirements

  • Strong technical experience with Microsoft Azure Data Services, specifically Databricks, Data Factory, and SQL Server
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
