We are seeking a skilled Maintenance and Grounds Professional to join our team at Ingenia Communities in One Mile Beach, New South Wales.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep of our facilities and grounds, including repairs and maintenance tasks, gardening and landscaping, and general site maintenance.

This is a full-time position with 38 hours per week, offering a competitive hourly rate of $28-$32 AUD per hour, depending on experience.

About the Role

  • Administer all repairs and or maintenance to tools, equipment and machinery
  • Regularly check and attend to general repairs to accommodation and amenities; including fixing toilets and unhinged doors
  • Ensuring the sites are maintained and presented at a high standard at all times
  • Garden labour such as pruning, weeding, hedging and mowing are to be completed in a timely manner and of a high quality condition
  • Ensure the proper and safe use and storage of all materials, consumables and gardening equipment
  • Stripping of beds & removal of all linen from Villas as well as cleaning and maintaining exterior of Villa windows, decking, pathways etc.
  • Other tasks including emptying rubbish bins, and garden restoration

About You

  • Previous experience working as a handyman or in a maintenance position
  • Driver's Licence
  • Ability to work with limited supervision
  • Great customer service skills teamed with a positive attitude and a strong attention to detail
  • Availability to work weekends and public holidays on a rotating roster
