High-Quality Mechanical Engineer Required

We are seeking a seasoned mechanical engineer to join our engineering team in Brisbane. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality projects and providing technical guidance to junior engineers.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver project requirements according to agreed schedules consistent with industry standards and quality benchmarks.
  • Maintain mechanical engineering standards across all projects.
  • Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and peers.
  • Recommend improvements to engineering systems and processes.
  • Continuously develop industry networks and contacts.
  • Have an opinion, challenge the norm, and provide constructive feedback wherever possible.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess experience in a range of mechanical engineering skills, particularly piping and pressure vessel design, and analysis of static equipment.

  • Experience in carrying out mechanical engineering design and documentation from concept through to construction stage.
  • Experience working in oil and gas facilities or similar heavy or manufacturing industries.
  • Experience in development, application, and preservation of engineering and design standards, systems and processes.
  • Experience using PVElite and AutoPIPE or other equivalent design software.
  • Experience generating engineering estimates and quotations.
