As an English Teacher, you will work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.
To excel in this role, you will be able to:
- create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students
- demonstrate the ability and qualifications to teach English with the capacity to teach Religious Education
- utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
- employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback
- support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
- demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
- integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences
- understand the current curriculum and NESA requirements
- commit to academic excellence
- demonstrate high-level interpersonal skills with parents, students and staff to encourage collaboration.
You will have attained:
- a tertiary qualification in Education
- eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
- Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
