Position HighlightsOur English Department is a high-performing, collegial department that has consistently demonstrated learning growth for all students. For the last decade, our Advanced and Extension English students have achieved results in the top 20 schools. Equally, our Religious Education Department has achieved outstanding academic success. Our teachers are collaborative and hardworking, developing a love of learning in all students, hoping to inspire a great appreciation for literature and skills in critical and creative thinking.

As an English Teacher, you will work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative, and engaging pedagogy.
To excel in this role, you will be able to:
- create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students
- demonstrate the ability and qualifications to teach English
- utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
- employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback
- commit to student learning growth, and encourage all students to strive for their personal best by setting high expectations and adopting a strong work ethic
- support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
- demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
- integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences
- support the co-curricula life of the College
You will have attained:
- a tertiary qualification in Education
- eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
- Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead
