Join a dynamic team as we seek an AV Technician to lead and provide specialist advice on projects, ensuring audio-visual system changes are implemented to standards.

About the Role:

  • Diagnose hardware and software faults, solve technical issues, and work with clients, staff, and contractors to identify and address audio-visual and general technology-related issues.
  • Develop training and knowledge material, guides, and videos to support equipment use and deliver face-to-face and remote training sessions to clients.
  • Conduct audits and record all audio-visual and video conferencing equipment is regularly updated and maintained in the Asset Register to enable tracking, servicing, and refurbishment/updating.

About You:

  • You are a highly motivated individual with well-developed skills in design, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of professional audio-visual, video conferencing, and control systems in an education environment.
  • You will have a good understanding of information technology as it applies to modern audio-visual, video conferencing, and control systems and comprehensive understanding of the requirements and operation of modern sound systems including system operation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree or relevant postgraduate qualifications in information systems, information technology, computing, or business.
  • Experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience, skills, and/or education/training.
