Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of 7-8 key Hitachi Energy accounts, developing business plans and strategies to grow the customer base and achieve sales targets.
  • Participate in the development of sales strategies for accounts, providing insights into customer business plans and defining sales targets and growth margins.
  • Establish and develop account relationships based on a defined strategy, acting as a focal point for problem resolution and monitoring customer claims.
  • Monitor competitors' activity and ensure appropriate response strategies are formulated and implemented.
  • Coordinate the use of internal or external resources to provide value-added services to accounts and ensure efficient marketing communication to external customers.
  • Sell products and systems to customers, promoting full product offerings and aligning to provide complete solutions.
  • Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales process, including post-sale, and manage administrative procedures in sales processes.

Requirements

  • Required tertiary or degree qualifications in Engineering or commercial qualification or recognized equivalent.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Sales or Business Development in software sales.
  • Significant sales/business development experience within the electrical industry, with specific experience in the power Gen, mining sectors highly regarded.
  • Good understanding of Hitachi Energy products and local market knowledge beneficial.
  • Pro-active self-starter, excellent negotiator, results-oriented, and driven sales professional with high-level commercial acumen.
