Residential Solar Roofer Position

We are seeking an experienced solar roofer to join our team. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in roofing and solar panel installation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collecting stock from our warehouse or local suppliers and transporting it to the site
  • Preparing and maintaining roofs for solar installations
  • Installing system components such as panels, inverters, batteries, cabling, roof racking, and conduits
  • Collaborating with electricians and team members for wiring and electrical connections
  • Conducting system commissioning and quality inspections
  • Engaging professionally with customers during installation and assisting them in using their systems
  • Ensuring a clean and organized work area with proper waste disposal

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ideal experience in the solar industry (not mandatory)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Working at Heights certification and preferably a White Card
  • EWP Ticket (not essential)
  • Solid trade skills, including familiarity with roofing materials and techniques, and an eagerness to learn new technology and processes
  • Professional attitude, friendly demeanor, and ability to work within a team
  • Willingness to work away from home on projects occasionally
