Position Overview
The Senior Clinical Lead (SCL) role is accountable to the Manager of Community Health Services (MCHS) and works closely with Senior Management and administrative staff to guide and support the Community Health Services Team. This position guarantees the delivery of consistent, high-quality in-home nursing care, prioritizing a patient-centered approach for clients, families, and healthcare professionals while adhering to best-practice clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities encompass managing a manageable caseload and providing both internal and external clinical oversight to ensure quality assurance, accreditation, and other organizational objectives.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in leading and managing healthcare teams.
- Demonstrated capacity to uphold high clinical standards in line with compliance, governance, and the National Safety & Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHSS).
- Exceptional time management abilities with a focus on prioritization and meeting deadlines.
- Innovative thinking, opportunity recognition, and advanced problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment and manage multiple tasks to achieve strategic goals.
Essential Requirements
- Current unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Authority (AHPRA).
- Successful completion of a National Police Check.
- Working with Vulnerable People Check.
- Full Tasmanian Driver's License.
- Willingness to travel intrastate as necessary.
