The opportunity exists for a talented professional to join VIRTUE TALENT PTY LTD as a Principal Systems Safety Assurance Consultant. This newly created position is responsible for delivering high-quality services and ensuring the success of national systems engineering and assurance projects.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity involves providing expert-level support to clients across various transport projects in Australia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering tailored services that meet client requirements and expectations;
  • Collaborating with clients to gather and manage project information, verifying project requirements and operational safety arguments;
  • Applying System Engineering & Safety Management processes and tools to ensure scalability and efficiency;
  • Supporting the production of essential deliverables, including Systems Engineering Plans, Safety Assurance Plans, and Safety Analyses;
  • Reviewing and checking deliverables to ensure accuracy and quality;
  • Participating in workshops and other activities to deliver contracted services.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline;
  • Strong analytical and interpretation skills;
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
  • A keen interest in transport systems, particularly complex railway signalling systems;
  • Australian Citizenship.
