Job Overview

The role offers an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to work on designing, optimizing, and scaling data pipelines in Airflow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and scale data pipelines in Airflow, ensuring efficient ingestion and dbt transformations.
  • Develop and maintain dbt projects and layers for clarity, reusability, and business alignment.
  • Implement validation checks in key points of the DAG to monitor data quality and reliability.
  • Build data models in Snowflake and dbt to support marketing, growth, subscription, customer, and demographic analytics.
  • Write SQL and Python to deliver production-ready transformations, optimisations, and automation.
  • Collaborate with Product, Analytics, and Engineering teams to ensure data is robust and business-relevant.
  • Contribute to CI/CD and deployment strategies to ensure pipelines are tested, versioned, and scalable.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an Analytics Engineer or Data Engineer, preferably in a high-growth environment.
  • Hands-on expertise with dbt, Airflow, Snowflake, SQL, and Python.
  • Ability to design pipelines using software engineering best practices (testing, version control, automation).
  • Understanding of data quality validation frameworks and how to embed them in orchestration.
  • Strong communication skills – able to bridge technical detail with business outcomes.
