Strategic Advisor - Public Affairs

A management consulting firm is seeking a high-performing senior advisor to support the development and execution of complex strategies, government relations, and stakeholder engagement campaigns.

  • Support client engagement on strategic projects and campaigns, ensuring high-quality services and outcomes;
  • Assist with stakeholder and partner engagement with industry and government, including political and departmental interactions;
  • Develop campaign strategies aligned with clients' corporate objectives;
  • Analyse government policies and industry developments relevant to clients;
  • Manage key client and stakeholder relationships.
Requirements:

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in consulting;
  • Experience working at Parliament House;
  • Experience in industries such as defence, national security, health, resources, energy, or infrastructure;
  • Interest in the Australian political environment;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • A flexible, dynamic, and highly motivated approach to work, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and manage competing priorities.
