Key Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our Purchasing Team as an Administration Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is eager to provide administrative support in a busy department, manage procurement and inventory of office supplies, and organize team events.

  • Provide administration duties including mail outs, document process & procedures, Data entry, as well as organizing supplier gathering events
  • Liaise with suppliers and publish information to the supplier base including Supplier Suggestions & Cost Reduction / Increase information
  • Track monthly cost movements and typical truck cost movements
  • Monitor and manage dealer enquires and engineering product changes released for the Purchasing Team
  • Provide administrative support to the Commodity Managers and Purchasing team.
  • Managing procurement and inventory of all office supplies.
  • Organise team events (Morning tea, Dinner etc.)

Requirements

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Excel (graph reporting) & PowerPoint)
  • Proven administration experience
  • Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Research and problem solving skills
  • High attention to detail and strong data management/accuracy
