Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic professional to join our team as a Second in Charge.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about working with children, to take on a key leadership role within our program. As a Second in Charge, you will be responsible for assisting the Director of Service in delivering exceptional experiences for the children in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the creation and implementation of enriching experiences based on the preferences of the children in your program (programming).
  • Support with ensuring your program is compliant according to industry regulations.
  • Interact with our parents and help them with enquiries wherever possible.
  • Engage with the school community, attending events, assemblies, etc when the Director can't attend.
  • Play and have FUN with primary school aged children.
  • Co-manage or coordinate during the school holiday program.

Requirements:

  • You're passionate about kids, have loads of energy and can just love to have fun.
  • You're a strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a can-do, positive attitude.
  • Ideally you have previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential - we can train you.
  • You have outstanding communication skills, both verbal & written.
  • You are looking for stable, permanent part time hours - up to 25 per week.
