Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Research Infrastructure Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the delivery of day-to-day operations of high-quality biomedical research facilities, scientific and other support services.

The Research Infrastructure Manager will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives and implement initiatives, ensuring the management of processes and delivery of operational services meet the faculty's research outcomes and maintain the high standard research facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Medicine & Health Research Infrastructure and Operational Services (MEDRIOS) Team
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of research infrastructure operations
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of funds
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications and extensive experience in providing high-quality operations or operational support within a research setting
  • Proven experience in people leadership, development, engagement, and management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to influence senior management and stakeholders
