We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Centre Technician to join our team at Pirtek Launceston. As a Centre Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality customer service and plant & machinery repair work to our customers. This is a hands-on role primarily based in our workshop, but also assisting our mobile service technicians where required. You will be part of a team serving customers over the counter, taking sales enquiries over the phone, and providing the highest standard of customer service. You will also be required to be part of our on-call after-hours service roster.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver consistent, accurate, and high-quality customer service and plant & machinery repair work to our customers.
- Assist mobile service technicians where required.
- Participate in on-call after-hours service roster.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have a mechanical background and a trade certificate and/or previous experience within the Hydraulics industry. You should also have a strong understanding of and a commitment to faultless customer service, strong verbal and written communication and numerical skills, and an organised and reliable attitude. You will be required to relocate to Launceston.
