Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Systems Engineer to lead technical outcomes and deliver high-quality solutions across diverse projects.

This role requires strong expertise in control systems, automation, project delivery, technical writing, communication, and client-facing skills.

  • Contribute and lead projects of varying size, scope, and complexity
  • Provide technical expertise in PLC, SCADA, HMI, DCS, instrumentation, and automation systems
  • Develop scopes of work, execution plans, and schedules
  • Act as Job Supervisor for assigned projects, ensuring timely delivery, within budget, and to required standards
  • Ensure compliance with safety, governance, and quality systems
  • Liaise directly with clients and foster strong relationships

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering (Electrical, Control, Instrumentation, or related field), 3+ years technical design experience in automation, control, and electrical projects in a contracting/project delivery environment, and strong experience with PLC, SCADA, HMI, and DCS systems integration.

Desirable expertise in one or more of the following areas will be highly regarded:

  • Functional Safety & Risk Management (incl. HAZOP leadership)
  • Major project contract management
  • Application-specific systems (e.g. boiler controls, mining automation)
