Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Implementation Specialist to support the rollout of Teams Calling and Ricoh Cloud Stream across their organisation. This three-month contract offers a unique opportunity to work on a unified communication system integrating voice calls through Microsoft Teams and a cloud-based print management service provided by Ricoh.
Current Status:
- The pilot for Ricoh Printers has been completed, and documentation is available. The next phase involves deploying approximately 35 additional printers within the next month.
- The Teams Calling rollout, including hard phones and soft phones using the Teams app for voice calling, is ready to begin once Telstra numbers are assigned. The setup has been completed by an external company, and the contractor will continue from this point onwards.
Skill Requirements:
- Ricoh Cloud Stream Expertise:
- Direct experience with Ricoh Cloud Stream setup, configuration, and deployment across multiple devices is essential.
- Familiarity with Ricoh printers and their integration with cloud-based print management systems is also required.
- Ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues between printers and the network is crucial.
- Strong communication skills to train users on the new system are necessary.
- Experience providing post-deployment support, including troubleshooting, to ensure a smooth transition is expected.
- Microsoft Teams Calling Expertise:
- Experience with Microsoft Teams Phone System (Teams Calling), including configuring and managing both soft phones (via the Teams app) and hard phones for voice calling, is required.
- Familiarity with Direct Routing and Microsoft Calling Plans for integrating telephony services with Teams is also needed.
- Experience with Teams Hard Phones and ensuring their integration with the existing Teams environment is essential.
- Experience migrating users from legacy phone systems to Microsoft Teams Calling, ensuring minimal disruption, is expected.
- Ability to provide training and support for end-users on new calling features, including voicemail, call routing, and conferencing, is necessary.
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
