Nursery Production Manager

Join our team as a Wholesale Nursery Leader and take on the challenge of overseeing production planning, workforce management, and workplace health and safety in a large wholesale nursery in Mount Evelyn VIC.

Nursery Leadership Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to lead the nursery team in producing high-quality plant stock within agreed timeframes
  • Maintain quality standards and production capacity by closely monitoring stock performance
  • Manage purchasing and logistics to ensure timely delivery of all production and maintenance requirements for the site
  • Collaborate with senior staff to address major stock loss QA practices and disease outbreaks

About You:

  • 3-5 years experience in horticulture or leadership roles preferably in wholesale nurseries
  • A valid drivers' license is required
  • An understanding of Occupational Health & Safety OHS is essential
  • Qualifications in Horticulture Agriculture are preferred but not essential
