This role will give you an opportunity to develop skills and build experience in retail practices and dealing with customers. As a Retail Cashier, you will play an important part in ensuring transactions run smoothly and efficiently.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing excellent customer service by warmly greeting and guiding customers through the store, as well as assisting those who are donating items and community members referred to the store for material aid support.
  • Assisting with sales transactions and answering customer enquiries in-store and over the phone.
  • Maintaining attractive and safe displays and merchandising in the point-of-sale area.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in retail, point-of-sale systems and customer service (desired but not mandatory).
  • Capabilities and personal attributes such as managing self, acting ethically and with integrity, showing respect, displaying resilience, working collaboratively, innovating and continuously improving.
