Therapeutic Care Worker Opportunity

Join a dynamic team to support vulnerable and disadvantaged youth. As a Therapeutic Care Worker, you will provide emotional and practical support, helping young people feel safe, valued, and empowered to build brighter futures.

This is a challenging yet rewarding role where no two days are the same. You will work closely with a House Supervisor, Case Managers, Therapeutic Specialists, and Coordinators to ensure the best possible outcomes for our young people.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Providing emotional support and guidance to young people in a non-judgmental way.
  • Encouraging personal growth and well-being through skill-building and confidence-boosting activities.
  • Managing behind-the-scenes tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the household.
  • Creating a positive environment that fosters stability and support for everyone.

You will also receive training in areas like Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) and Cultural Awareness to help you grow in your role.

Key qualifications include a Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or a similar qualification, along with relevant experience working with young people. A valid driver's license and Working with Children Check are also required.

  • Relevant qualification and experience.
